Our principles

At Mulberry Bush Montessori, our principles are based around four central ideas:

• All children are inquisitive learners and given the freedom to investigate the safe space around them, they will become active learners
• From birth to seven, all children have absorbent minds, so that everything that happens in their lives has an effect on them. The quality of early experience is of fundamental importance to self-development
• Children will respond to good order and discipline
• Attention, balance and coordination are the primary a, b and c upon which later academic and emotional learning depends
